Inaugural meeting of SLS

One of the most important events that will take place at SLS 2012 is the inaugural meeting of the Scandinavian Logic Society. The meeting will be chaired by Juliette Kennedy and the minutes will be taken by Fredrik Engström. The meeting will start 17:45 on Monday, the 20th of August,  that is, 15 minutes after the final session of the first day. The meeting will be held in building 46.

The purpose of the meeting is to set the Scandinavian Logic Society up on a firm footing, to nominate offices, and to plan for future events, such as the next edition of the Symposium.

All attendees of SLS 2012 are strongly urged to attend, thereby insuring that this important initiative really does reflect your wishes. We also  urge all of you who have not done so already to sign up with the  Scandinavian Logic Society. You can do so by following this link:

And right after the meeting, we are having the conference dinner and drinks!

The dinner will be served on Roskilde campus very close to the main conference site, and should be an ideal way to round off a busy first day!
